About us

Based in greater Charlotte, North Carolina, Cassandra Hallman, founder of Hallman Consulting, has led a variety of conservation biology projects in the public and private sectors in both the US and Sweden. She has a research background in plant taxonomy and floristic change combined with extensive field experience. Practical strategy, public engagement, science communication, and sustainability are core tenets of her approach.

Cassy has worked to study and document the changing flora of southern Sweden, to disentangle the Eryngium yuccifolium complex,  and to help guide conservation efforts in the southeastern United States and in Sweden.
